Hi , just back online, been away bocking 4 weekend.
Its was the 'potters somat field' ( Ill go back and edit later).
County Hall to City Hall probably means very little to most people. But if I was to say London Eye to Tower Bridge, I think peeps will know those places and feel they are going to 'understandable and not unknown territory'.
Basically you have C19th wide pavemented embankment with a few steps here and there. On top are a fair few 'scoopings' of 1960's 'neobrutalist' concrete constructions, types peeps h8 but r fab for us. 1980's ( 90's?) covered sk8 park and a few C21st additions. Chuck in loads of tourists and locals out to see and be seen, out door art, 2nd hand book fair, living statues, the 'wobbly bridge', loads of places to eat and drink, its a good day out.
County hall/London Eye are next to Waterloo station, so getting there should not be too difficult.
As for meet time, may I offer an alternative?
Lunch time! peeps turn up and just bounce around this area and bump ( hopefully not tooo literally) into each other. But then come togther at a central point at between say 12-1300? The Potters field being a good spot.
