Your progress in Bocking!
« on: September 21, 2009, 06:14:49 PM »
I thought it would be interesting to see peoples progress on their Bocks over the years/months, for one this could be encouraging for newbies and it would be quite funny/interesting to see how good at Bocking people used to be when they were newbies themselves!

I can definitely say that I am much better at Bocking than I used to be, here is a video of me at a meet about 2 and a bit months after I started Bocking:

Notice how full of fail I am? :Claugh:
Well now, 11 months from when I started Bocking, I can jump much higher(perhaps 1.5m?) and do lots of ticks(even though I don't do them much during meets).
I am also quite close to bottoming out my springs now(I think I have done it once or twice), which is quite an achievement for me as I am probably about 15-20kg underweight for them.

So what has been your progress in Bocking, remember to post your embarrassing newbie videos!

I dont have a video to show my progress but I've had my stilts for three weeks and at my first meet I couldnt bounce properly. I can now bounce properly, stradle, almost split kick, and kanga up steps and stuff.

Dead pleased :D

If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room!

No problem :D I don't know what I did, sprogs is still exactly how you posted it...I just took an extra space out that was in your code and when I saved it they were all fixed ?? WTF..I must be magic ;)

Btw...you can just post the links to youtube vids and they are embedded automatically. Might save you some time :) And 2 of the vids are the same ??

Anyhoo..The gym vid is so funny! I think rancher is a great example actually. He was a noob there and has had the time/dedication to take it really far.
