London Marathon 2011
« on: February 16, 2010, 05:03:42 PM »
Im seriously considering doing it, no matter how long it takes, or how painful it is, its for charity. Entries are closed for this year, but got plenty of time to train for next time. So who else is in?  :PJ101Ian:

If a guy in a diving suit can do it I think even I could make it in about 20 hrs  :Claugh:

Someone did try to do the marathon on bocks about 2 years ago ( can't remember who) but was given the old "to dangerous speach"

I don't see why you shouldn't try again though and I wish you lots of luck

If they say no ask them if they are also gonna ban the guy with one leg who uses a cheeter  :Claugh: see how they like that as the technology is the same

But if you do get in it will be a good for the whole sport and you never know I might join you next year (allbeit very slowly  :Claugh:)

but was given the old "to dangerous speach"

and of course a guy wearing his weight in solid iron isn't dangerous to anyone, imagine if he slipped on a wet paving slab, could hurt lots of people, cause damage to public property, and hurt himself
