Which is which

Hi everybody.
Theres been a dissagreement in the riser raptors for some time now about what a Straddle is and what what a Split kick is.
This is mainly between Alex (dark-castles2) and Xal (daryl).
I just wanted everyone to cast a vote or let us know which is which.
I am confused.

split kick
you splay your legs in front and behind you
straddle
to you splay you legs to the side and up in front of you.
People please correct me if I'm wrong, occasionally I am.

Easy explanation is that a Straddle is a star jump but with your hands between your legs

If you are looking at it from a martial art point of view a split kick is a straddle and a straddle is a split kick
