Clown outfit
« on: August 22, 2010, 09:02:17 PM »
Hi Guys
Just finnished my latest outfit and thought I'd get your opinions and maybe some advice

The costume is for a charity gig and everything is going fine except the makeup

It runs every time I sweat (which on bocks is always  :Claugh: )

Tried Snazaroo water based and Grease paint but all seems to get washed off

What I have come down to is an opera mask but as I have a big face (to go with the body  ) they all seem to small

so do you know any shops that sell them so I can try

Oh and heres the pics

Thanks DC

Problem is all the ones I have tried are to small and they don't give sizes might have to just risk ordering one

Yep DC tried all the girly waterproof stuff and it washes off just as fast

Think I might try car paint next  :Claugh: that does stay on for a while but might not be to friendly

Thank Toddy but think I'll stick to getting plastered (the wife volunteered  :Claugh: )

Nice outfit!

One idea might be to use a *THIN* layer of wax under the makeup, that would help. Hair wax would probably do it as it's designed not to start running under those kind of conditions. It could be pretty messy though, but maybe something to consider as a last resort? Hmm.

Good luck in finding a solution in any case :)

well theres always our clown costumes.....

Really :(

I think most people should wear the grim reaper stuff, but those that can do flips should do slightly different :L

Hopefully I will be able to by then ><

I had the idea of a demon mask with full black and clawed gloves :P
