i know some postmen do give parcels to neighbours. But it is royal mail policy note to (parcelforce is part of RM).
As a postman ,i do not leave stuff next door unless i am proofpositive that they are v friedly ( even turning down offers to take stuff).
Tho an exception did occur yesterday, i did leave it with the neighbour who offered to take aparcel. The reason for my change? Well I dont think the original sender had realised the emdarresment he would cause if the lady had to turn up at my office to claim it. She would have to have asked for a parcel addressed to 'LITTLE MISS GOODTIME' yes written in big and bold in quotes.
