darfgarf Posts:881 | April 11, 2009, 01:15:45 PM well i can get over the bruising pretty easily, just the rubbing tugging on leg hair isn't too nice after 10 hours (yes i've done that long, killed a set of old PJ feet that day ![]() |
Hilly-of-the-Marshes Posts:622 | April 10, 2009, 05:10:37 PM did i not say that i thought that was rubbish, i got massive blisters when i first got them and took a several hour walk, but since then i just reddens a little if i haven't been bocking in more thana fortnight |
Kazbahn Posts:339 | April 10, 2009, 03:37:14 PM you're all obviously soft, i dont use padding either. Didnt hurt, even after four hours at warrington, where i wasnt allowed to take them off because i said i wouldnt... lol |
darfgarf Posts:881 | April 10, 2009, 12:23:43 PM i've got half an inch of insulation foam for padding, and to stop the rubbing i put tubigrips on underneath whatever i'm wearing my knees just hurt and swell up without padding |
scruff Posts:61 | April 09, 2009, 06:10:25 PM Im suprised aswell because when I did that I cut my legs open!! |
Hilly-of-the-Marshes Posts:622 | April 09, 2009, 02:13:16 PM I don't use any extra padding and it doesn't bruise, but it rubs and kinda burns away the hair, but you can build up a sort of tolerance to the rub if you do it often enough |
darfgarf Posts:881 | April 09, 2009, 01:53:59 PM i'm kinda shocked you don't have huge bruises from the kneebars, rarely see people with no extra padding on them |
Hilly-of-the-Marshes Posts:622 | April 09, 2009, 10:48:58 AM Technically its not a cube, its a cuboid, but still a cool pic. I wouldn't like to try and land that from the strange angles arms and legs though ![]() |
