need advice @ weight
« on: June 27, 2008, 09:22:45 PM »
Hi, got some pro-jumps, M70 Version, Should be here on Monday hopefully :d

just wondering, i weight 62.5kg, and im 16 years old. Would these be ok to use? I have heard people using M90's and weighing 63kg.

Just any advice on what im losing if i dont get higher weight versions over the 70kg version.

Thx in advance :)

i had the 70's and i weigh 9.5 st dont no wat that is in kg but as i got better at jumping i started to bottom the springs. all you will be missing if u bottom the springs is a little extra hight in your jumps but other wise they will b fine for now just so u can get used to stilts (if your not allready)

I weigh 54kg on M70s. they are quite stiff but I like them. You will be fine on M70's for nmow but there will be a time you will need to upgrade because it is like min 10kg springs over your weight but for now they will be fine but you could find them lititing as you get better

at 16 your still growing and boys gain more than girls !?
At 62.5kg:-
M70 would be fine but you'll end up bottoming them very soon !
M80 would work better for you for now and you'll be bounce in no time.
M90 would mean you could have room to grow and they'd last you well over a year but would be hard to start with and feel very stiff.
