First steps
« on: August 13, 2008, 08:13:21 AM »
OK,
so I finally got my PJ's on monday, I was shocked about the size of the box when the guy turned up at the door (around 11AM)  so ripped open the box and removed my brand spanking new PJ's from the box, ran all of the safety checks on them and even used some WD40 on all the movable areas so I wouldn't get any wear or squeeks from anything then I put them on....

WOW!!  It's such a wierd feeling being another foot taller than you are already (fun though), started walking by holding onto the fence, was a bit shaky at first but after a couple of minutes I walking round the garden no problem at all.  Then IT HAPPENED!!!

IT STARTED  :censored: RAINING!!  :nana: And it hasn't stopped for the past 2 days, I hate the weather in this  :censored: country.....

Had good fun for my first half hour bock so can't wait to get back on them.....

Anyway I think I'll need to purchase a set of those hoofies and pray that the rain stops very soon!!  Anyone know a sun dance??

P.S  My GF has been walking around the house in them, think I'm gonna need to get her a set too  :banghead:

well my sun dance seemed to work yesterday, it was pretty nice out once I got home from work so I was out and about on my PJ's for about 1.5 hours.   Got the walking bit mastered and my balance is pretty good, jogging was ok too but I seem to have a problem.....

Whenever I try to really pick up speed I feel like I'm putting to much effort into it and not letting the strings do the work, I guess it will come with eperience and time, but any pointers would be great

I know it may sound wierd, but use your heels to bounce/jump around with, not the balls of your feet.

Just take it slowly from a walk and gradually take longer steps, then quicken the pace into strides, remembering to use your heels and before you know it, you'll be running.

Next lesson, Stopping!  :police:
