Insurance
« on: October 09, 2009, 07:10:06 PM »
Ok so i know that its not really a "modification" but ive just been wondering. Is it worth getting insurance that would cover my new Pro Jumps when i get them? I may just be paranoid but ever since my bike got stolen i've been regretting not putting it on a separate insurance so im wondering if its worth doing the same for a pair of bocks. Any ideas guys?
And if you dont want to have your pride and joy stolen (in my case my bike) Dont leave it at Attleborough station

Hey,
My bike is insured as part of our house insurance. Provided it is locked up, with a proper lock (not just a chain and padlock). I don't know if you could do this with bocks. You could try. But if they require it to be locked or whatever it might be a bit tricky. I wouldn't fork much out for it. Just keep em with you :)

I don't think it is worth insuring them, I keep them inside my house anyway as they are not as big as a bike.
They also are cheaper than a decent bike, so if it does get stolen in the end it would have been cheaper to buy a second pair of stilts.
It's probably wiser to insure yourself(like I have) as Bocking can be dangerous.

Yeah i dont think there much need, they should be kept in your house ( i forget where i read about someones being robbed from their shed) and youll either be on them or carrying them, or if your at a meet everyone will keep an eye on your stuff for ya
