I think thats a little short sighted Joe. I mean I know you would be driving up but there are other groups that could easily look at the weather the night before or even when they get up on the day and any chance of rain or horrible weather and they are just not going to bother. I think if we had a gym booked for 3-4 hours then it is still something worthwhile to travel to.

Hey everyone still not dead here!

So my knee is looking like it will be up to getting back on my stilts soon and this meet up sounds like a great opportunity for me to do that, if no one minds me coming?

I would be most interested in if there was a gym booked as that would really be the safest place for me and it would mean the weather would not be such a problem

But PLEASE can this be somewhere near a train station? or would anyone be kind enough to pick me up from the train station? I dont drive at all so transport has always been a major issue to me

It would be great for you to put you stilts back on and jump with us. I'm hoping to get some old Jump stilters back together.
I think we are all going to meet at the council office...big open area right in the middle of birmingham. I thing there is 3 train stations at birmingham.
If we do get a gym I'll but the information up.

Joe, Have you spoke to Nero or any of the guys local to Birmingham about how the police/council might react to 20-30 bockers running around?

When numbers get bigger you can't just rock up and hope for the best.

Yeah I do remember some bockers in Brum have got moved on by police, more likely if this is a council building.

Last time I went we didn't get moved on for any bocking related issues... also i believe they do have a gym available, but they don't use it as it's to expensive for the amount of people that turn up, with a good amount it ought to be ok.

I will write to the council to let them know. but I think it will be fine as they do have big event in the area.
I'm still trying to get hold of 'nero' and 'no fear'. sent them a email on 'skyhigh' but ill try facebook tonight.

Ok I have written to birmingham council today (I think locky has too, hopefully 1 of us will get a reply).

I have also been in contact with 'nero' from 'sky high' today asking him about birmingham his local area and jumping stilts.

His reply 'no problems in viccy square, not really any local gyms and if im not working ill bring the lads along'

thats the plan jason of this meet to get the old people that stoped to get back on their stilts and have some fun again. the other side is to get the new guy to a meet to see other people on stilts, and to make some stilting friends.
